Historically know as the “Spud Pub” we still cook great jacket potatoes as well as top quality local steaks & grills and a modern menu.

Situated just outside of Kidlington on the A4260 Oxford to Banbury Road, Sturdy’s Castle sits at the gateway to the Cotswolds, boasting some of Britain’s most beautiful countryside, towns and villages. Blenheim Palace, the ancestral home of Winston Churchill, can be found less than 3 miles away in the charming market town of Woodstock, and the famous dreaming spires of the internationally renowned university city of Oxford are also a mere 9.5 miles away.

Mon-Friday Lunch 12:00pm – 3:00pm Dinner 5:30pm -9:00pm

Saturday 12pm – 9pm

Sunday 12pm-6pm
